Hey.
I'm matt.
This blog is (hopefully) essentially going to act as a communication center for philosophy, said individual being too reserved to actually share his thoughts with the world by his own voice, preferring to write them out. This is done to make the point of what I am attempting to say more clear to the readers, and then hopefully they will either agree or disagree and be able to clearly state their own arguments and hopefully we will come to the truth in the matter by open discussion of ideas.
This will hopefully result in some sort of open online intellectual discussion community, with multiple blog-owners (moderators) able to post questions and the online community able to respond as they see fit.
Hopefully, in the end, we can spread whatever wisdom might accumulate here to the world, and maybe improve it just a little bit.
Love and peace to you all in the name of our master, Yahshua Ha Mashiach ^-^

How does this sound as a first subject...
- What is reality?
- What does it mean to us?
- If we can remove mountains with only a mustard seed of faith, what does that mean for us if we can develop our faith in Him continually?
- What does faith mean?
- How do we develop faith?
Just reply whatever you observe in the comments, and I'll get back to you. To back your comments, any philosophical source can be quoted, including the bible, old and new testaments.

It sounds like 5 subjects to me. :)
ReplyDelete1. What is reality?
Reality is when we choose to step away from the tv, entertainment, radio, newspapers, fluff fiction and begin to see the world around us for the first time. Whether it's a bird chirping in your back yard that you've never stopped to listen to before, or praying for others while they secretly stumble through inner battles. When you are thinking during every bite of food of that child who doesn't have any today. When you see the money people spend on useless disposables that could have fed or provided water for a whole village. That is reality to me. It's real. Very real.
2. What does it mean to us?
Above
3. Developing faith continually?
It proves to me that I certainly don't have the faith of a mustard seed or the faith to move even a mustard seed. Working continually towards that is very important, but it does seem rather infinite. Which is what the next question pertains to!
4. What is faith?
Not having to wonder, not having to guess. Knowing what is there although you've never seen it. Feeling it's existence although you couldn't prove you've ever felt it. When people look at you strangely for your convictions and you don't care. The beliefs were given to you. Not to them, obviously. And having the gumption not to hold it against anyone else. Our faith is a personal thing. Never to be forced on others. Let Him work in their lives.
5. How do we develop faith?
Constant prayer, meditation, humility, sorrow, hurt, weaknesses, also all the things that we believe are 'curses' also prove to strengthen our faith by forcing us to be perpetually prayerful. Then Yah strengthens us where he sees fit. He develops it by speaking to our hearts.
